Dr. Morra received her dental degree with honors from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 2001. Dr. Morra's treatment philosophy primarily focuses on providing individualized quality care. She is a firm believer in light force mechanics, non-extraction treatment when possible, and a comprehensive diagnostic approach for children, adolescents, and adults. When treatment planning, emphasis is placed on facial esthetics, both in the present and in the future.
Dr. Morra is an active member of several dental and orthodontic associations and has enjoyed teaching dentistry and orthodontics at the University of Manitoba and at UBC. She has authored numerous publications and has presented research at national and international orthodontic conferences. In her spare time, Dr. Morra likes to spend time with her husband and their beautiful daughters, Ava and Leila.

Hello! I’m Dr. Amani Morra, and welcome to Dream Orthodontics.
In the Beginning
From an early age, I knew I’d be involved in a healthcare profession. A fortuitous student job in a dental lab at university opened my eyes to dentistry and I’ve never looked back.
A passion for helping people improve their lives is what saw me through my dental degree with honours from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 2001 and then two years of practicing general dentistry in New Brunswick.
I then decided to pursue orthodontic training at the University of Manitoba, and in 2006 earned a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. In 2008, I founded Dream Orthodontics.
The practice serves families in South Surrey, White Rock. You can read more about our story and commitment to the community here.
My Treatment Philosophy
My treatment philosophy focuses on providing you with individualized, quality care. I’m a firm believer in light force mechanics, non-extraction treatment when possible, and a comprehensive diagnostic approach for children, adolescents, and adults.
I also believe that orthodontics is both science and art together, requiring creative skill not just mechanical know-how with brackets and wires. Crafting not only perfect smiles but smiles perfectly suited to each patient is what energizes, challenges, and ultimately inspires me.
Hmmmm, What Else?
Continuing education and giving back to my profession are also essential parts of who I am. I belong to several dental and orthodontic associations. I’ve taught courses in dentistry and orthodontics at the University of Manitoba and UBC as well as authored numerous publications and presented at orthodontic conferences.
I’m also a mom, with a husband and four beautiful children: Ava, Leila, Kamran and Parisa. We love our lifestyle on the west coast and are so glad we’ve set down roots in the community we serve.
Like many of you, I understand the joys and struggles of juggling family, school, and work. Adding orthodontic appointments to the mix can be a challenge. But we are here to help! If you are interested in becoming a patient of Dream, I would love to speak with you. Contact our South Surrey office today to schedule a free initial consultation
I love being part of creating incredible smiles! Our patients are wonderful people and it’s fun to become friends while helping them develop a smile they love. People often start treatment feeling self-conscious about crooked teeth. As they see their teeth shift and their smile change, their personality changes. Patients become more confident and outgoing and by the time we’re finished, they’re smiling and laughing with everyone! I support Dr. Morra during orthodontic procedures, while making sure our patient is comfortable.
Outside the office, I enjoy sewing, reading, and spending time with my family; we love being on and near the water. We have a sweet cat and a Bernese Mountain dog, who keep us entertained.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I love seeing each of our patients grow during treatment. Not only do they get a new smile, but they develop stronger self-esteem and become much more confident. The day we remove their braces and they see what they’ve accomplished is the best: their happiness makes all of us happy! I assist Dr. Morra during orthodontic procedures as well as provide patient care. I also track our inventory, order supplies, and sterilize equipment, too.
I’ve been married for more than ten years to the most wonderful man. We have two gorgeous girls who are the center of our world. We enjoy bike riding, games, long walks to new places, and watching movies.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I love working directly with patients and watching their transformation as they go through treatment. I love to see the self confidence that comes with a beautiful smile. I work assisting Dr. Morra and directly with patients for thier orthodontic adjustments.
I am married with three wonderful children, a son and twin daughter. Outside of work you will find me spending time with them camping, bike riding or going on road trips with our classic car. My personal hobbies include sewing, reading and Scottish Dancing.
Treatment Coordinator and Certified Dental Assistant
I look forward to coming to Dream Orthodontics every day. We serve amazing people and I enjoy seeing how the care we offer improves their lives. Dr. Morra and our team create wonderful, unique smiles. The look on a patient’s face, when they see that finished smile, never gets old! I review treatment plans with patients and parents, explaining what’s involved so they can make an educated decision. I also work hard to find payment plans that work with each family’s budget.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also love hiking our local mountains
I am the Financial and scheduling Coordinator. You will see me at the front desk when you come into the office. I will schedule your next appointment and work with you on any financial arrangements in our office. I have over 25 year experience in dental offices and am also a Certified Dental Assistant. When I'm not at the office I enjoy travelling, walking my Labrador Retriever dog and spending time with my family and friends. I love to see the before and after smile transformations on our patients!
